Description: The structure of the inclined reciprocating boiler grate is divided into two types: one is the more common inclined reciprocating grate, and the other is a water-cooled reciprocating boiler grate that has rapidly developed in recent years. The general inclined reciprocating boiler grate is mainly composed of several parts, including movable grate bars, fixed furnace, grate bar transmission mechanism, and reciprocating mechanism.

  Inclined ReciprocatingBoiler GrateThe structure is divided into two types: one is the more common inclined reciprocating grate, and the other is a water-cooled reciprocating boiler grate that has rapidly developed in recent years. The general inclined reciprocating boiler grate is mainly composed of several parts, including movable grate bars, fixed furnace, grate bar transmission mechanism, and reciprocating mechanism. The entire plane often occupies half of the fixed grate and movable grate, with a staggered layer staircase in between, and the inclined angle is between 15 degrees and 20 degrees.

  The fixed grate bars are installed and embedded on the fixed grate beam, which is fixed on the inclined channel steel support. The movable grate bars are installed on the movable grate beam. The movable boiler grate beam is supported on rollers that are supported by the fixed grate beam, and the lower ends of all movable grate beams are connected into a whole by a connecting rod. When the motor starts, the transmission mechanism drives the eccentric wheel to move, through the connecting rod and movable rod, thus causing the movable boiler grate bars to reciprocate on the fixed grate. The reciprocating stroke is generally between 30 millimeters and 70 millimeters, and the coal blocks move backward with the reciprocating motion.

  Boiler GrateThe motor is controlled by a time relay, adjusting the startup time according to the load of the boiler grate and the requirements for the type of coal.

  As for the water-cooled reciprocating boiler, the grate is mainly composed of water pipe racks, disc-shaped cast iron grate bars, transmission mechanisms, and reciprocating mechanisms. On the elevated water pipes, there is generally a row of straight pipes welded to the ends of the container, with the front and rear boxes connected by steam drum connecting pipes, forming a circulating loop.

  The disc-shaped cast iron grate bars are embedded between the pipes of the water pipe rack, and the contact surface of the grate and the pipes is coated with metal powder mixed with water glass and tightly secured with modules. The water flows through the pipes, cooling the disc-shaped cast iron grate bars.

  Behind the inclined reciprocating grate, there is sometimes a burnout grate (also known as a residual combustion grate). The ash and slag are basically burned out of combustible materials on this grate, and then the grate is flipped to dump all the ash and slag. Due to the serious air leakage of the burnout grate and the complexity of air adjustment, it is often replaced with a water-sealed ash pit for periodic or continuous slag removal.

  Inclined ReciprocatingBoiler GrateWhen using coal with high volatile content and quick ignition, it is easy to burn at the coal hopper outlet and emit smoke from the coal hopper. To eliminate this defect, secondary air can be introduced at the coal gate to blow the flame towards the furnace. However, a more thorough solution is to improve the coal feeding device below the coal hopper, allowing the coal to leave the hopper and then pass through the pushing feeding plate to be sent into a deeper position in the furnace before burning.
