Active reciprocating grate bars

There is a small angle between the grate surface and the horizontal plane, and the reciprocating grate bars produce periodic vibrations through the action of the motor and eccentric wheel. During the vibration, the fuel layer continuously moves towards the rear of the furnace, allowing the burnt ash to fall into the ash pit at the end of the grate. The characteristic of this grate is its simple structure.

The reciprocating type is a small mechanized grate developed based on the fixed step grate. It has characteristics such as simple structure, easy manufacturing, low metal consumption, and good smoke and dust removal effects. It is more commonly used in small industrial boilers and is a combustion device with development prospects.
The thrust direction of the forward reciprocating step grate is consistent with the direction of garbage movement. To ensure that the garbage has sufficient residence time in the furnace, the grate length is usually longer, and the grate is designed in a segmented step style, with each segment equipped with an independent motion control adjustment system. The angle of the grate is also smaller than that of the reverse push type.

The entire combustion surface of the reciprocating grate is composed of fixed grate bars and movable grate bars, each occupying half of the area, stacked in a stepped manner with an inclination angle of 15° to 20°. The fixed grate bars are embedded in the fixed grate beams, which are then fixed to the inclined channel steel supports. The movable grate bars are embedded in the movable grate beams, which rest on rollers supported at both ends by the fixed grate beams. The lower ends of both sides of all movable grate beams are connected by connecting rods to form a whole.
