What is a scale grate?

The grate is a component that accumulates solid fuel on a grate or industrial furnace and burns it effectively. The entire furnace mainly consists of two parts: the frame and the drawing frame. The grate pieces are generally made of cast iron, and after assembly, they maintain necessary ventilation gaps between the grate and the carving. Often, a separate adjustable air chamber is set up below the grate, allowing air to enter the fuel layer through the gaps. The ash produced after combustion is discharged by manual or mechanical methods. The furnaces can be fixed, mobile, reciprocating, vibrating, or lower-level, each serving different purposes.

The forging of the grate generally has a tighter structure, and the flame after forging can enhance the functionality of the steel, improving the strength and toughness of the flange. Alloy materials can also be forged. Of course, if the flange requirements are not high, not forging can save costs, which needs to be measured comprehensively and should not be confused.
The boilers we see in our lives and many industrial furnaces produced in factories cannot do without grates. The grate is a crucial part that determines whether the process is sufficient, and the quality of the grate will affect your productivity. A good grate should be able to provide enough fuel and convert it into energy. The installation of the grate is actually a relatively complex process; let's analyze it together.

There are two types of grates: belt and chain. The chain belt; grate; the surface of the grate, which is the belt itself; the grate pieces are fixed on the top supports or supports. The belt fire and furnace are driven by sprockets that drive the chain, causing the grate pieces to move slowly. Coal falls evenly onto the grate from the front. The thickness of the layer is controlled by adjusting the gate up and down. As it moves backward, it burns until ignition. There are also methods that do not supply coal, where coal is thrown onto the grate from behind using a coal machine, and the furnace moves forward. The speed of the furnace is controlled by gear transmission, depending on the type of coal and the load of the boiler. It operates reliably, stably, and has a wide fuel adaptability, widely used in industrial boilers.
The design structure of the grate, which is manually operated, includes a water-cooled grating furnace added at a certain height. Its components include: furnace door, middle door, lower door, upper door, radiator, air chamber, ignition chamber, walls, convection heating surface, exhaust pipe, flue, chimney, etc. The commercial door is often designed to be opened for fuel feeding and air supply.
