Next, I will explain the maintenance of the slag grate and the structure of the reciprocating grate.
Maintenance of the Slag Grate
The slag grate uses electricity as energy, utilizing resistance heating and electromagnetic induction heating, to heat the heat carrier water and organic heat carrier (thermal oil) to a certain parameter temperature and pressure through the boiler's heat exchange section, outputting thermal energy with rated working medium to the outside.
Proportional Maintenance:
Generally speaking, the slag grate should undergo certain maintenance within 1-2 years to help ensure its normal operation. Regular inspections are also fundamental to guarantee its proper functioning.
1. When maintaining the boiler, the power supply must be cut off, and pressure must be released.
2. The burner should be removed from the boiler body every two months to thoroughly clean accumulated coal, dust, and other foreign objects. The light-receiving surface of the photoelectric tube should be wiped once a month, and the fuel filter must be kept clean and functional; carefully clean the filter inside the oil pump to avoid damaging the sealing gasket. To prevent damage to the oil pump, do not run the burner without oil.
3. The water level gauge should be kept clean regularly, and the cleaning valve should be opened and flushed once a day to ensure the water level is clear.
4. The safety valve should be pulled once a day to prevent rust.
Structure of the Reciprocating Grate
The reciprocating grate is also a commonly used furnace type for small and medium-sized biomass combustion devices. The reciprocating grate mainly consists of fixed grates, movable grates, transmission mechanisms, and reciprocating mechanisms.
The rear end of the reciprocating grate is clamped on the movable beam, and its front end is directly placed on the adjacent lower level's surrounding fixed grate pieces, making the grate overall present a distinct stepped shape with a certain angle of inclination, allowing fuel to easily descend. The movable beams of each column are connected together with two channels, forming a movable frame. The motor drives the eccentric wheel, which drives the connecting rods on the frame, allowing the movable grate plates to move back and forth according to the movable frame, with a stroke of about 30-100mm and a reciprocating frequency of about 1-5 times/min. The tail end of the fixed grate pieces is clamped on the fixed beam, similar to the movable grate pieces, with its front end also resting on the adjacent lower level's grate pieces. Support rods are placed in the middle of the grate pieces to reduce pressure on the movable grate pieces and wear caused by reciprocating motion. The air required for combustion can be supplied through the longitudinal gaps between the grates and the transverse gaps between each layer of grates, with a ventilation cross-section ratio of about 7%-12%. At the tail end of the inclined grate, the fuel that has been completely burned falls into the ash pit.
That's all for today. If anyone needs grates, please
