The beam-type grate is a mechanized combustion device widely used in industrial boilers, but it has certain adaptability to coal types. Chain combustion is a mobile bed combustion method, and the ignition condition for fuel is "limited combustion."
The beam grate is a horizontal three-pass water-fire tube mixed boiler, with a bundle of threaded smoke tubes inside the drum. There are light tube water-cooled walls on both sides of the furnace chamber, using a lightweight chain grate for mechanical coal feeding, equipped with a blower and induced draft fan for mechanical ventilation, and equipped with a scraper slag discharge device for automatic slag discharge.
The front and rear arches of the furnace body adopt new energy-saving technology. Fuel falls from the coal hopper onto the grate, and after combustion, the flame is refracted by the rear arch, flipping up through the combustion chambers on both sides of the body to the front smoke box, then transferring from the front smoke box to the rear smoke box for combustion, flipping up again through the combustion chambers on both sides of the body and then transferring from the front smoke box to the smoke box.
Fuel enters the grate through the coal hopper. As the beam grate moves, the combustion process begins inside the furnace. The burnt coal slag is discharged to the slag well at the tail of the grate with the movement of the grate. Therefore, compared to reciprocating furnaces, vibrating furnaces, and fluidized bed furnaces, the chain grate has higher requirements for coal quality. The mechanical coal throwing machine basically belongs to the unlimited combustion grate, with a wide adaptability to coal quality.
