Characteristics of Chain Furnace Structure

1. Preserve the advantages of the traditional chain grate structure and eliminate its defects.
2. The grate bars are suspended, with a novel structure, easy to disassemble, lightweight, coal-tight, and suitable for various chain grates.
3. The chain link (active grate bar) is multifunctional, only bearing tension without being burned by fire, with high strength and no cracking. There are three structural types: rolling type, friction type, and new beam type. The first two are used for medium and small chain grates, while the latter is used for medium and large chain grates.
4. The grate chain belt is designed to prevent air leakage between the wind chambers and air leakage at the front and back of the grate.
5. The segmented air supply chamber has a uniform air supply structure.
6. The side sealing of the grate adopts a two-level sealing method, with the first level using a universal side sealing block and the second level using labyrinth or contact sealing.
7. Coal feeding method: traditional coal hopper or multifunctional layered coal feeder.
△Performance and advantages
1. No disadvantages of existing chain grates, reasonable structure, simple manufacturing process, lightweight or comparable, and low manufacturing cost.
2. Operating performance: easy to operate, few failures, high safety reliability, and low maintenance costs.
3. Very little coal leakage, ash leakage, air leakage, and cross air flow.
4. Each segmented air supply chamber supplies air evenly along the width of the grate to promote uniform combustion of the coal layer.
5. Due to the good performance and many advantages of the new type of chain grate, the mechanical incomplete combustion heat loss q2 and flue gas heat loss q4 of the matched furnace are very small, thus the efficiency and output of the furnace are higher than those of existing similar furnaces.
The chain grate is a long-established, reliable, and stable mechanical coal-burning device in industrial boilers, widely used.
