3. Properly adjust the chain's pre-tension. When a new chain is just used or a longer chain is selected, the pre-tension only needs to meet the requirements for the chain and chain ring to operate well under normal working conditions. The stress on both sides of the chain should be as equal as possible. Excessive pre-tension will exacerbate wear and reduce the chain's service life.
Monitoring and inspection of the discharge machine chain:
1. Regularly check the wear of the chain, chain links, sprockets, and other parts; monitor the wear and erosion degree of high-wear areas; also check bolts, nuts, and other parts, and tighten them immediately if loose.
Maintenance of the discharge machine chain:to be equipped with a new sprocket.2. For sprocket discharge machines, when the wear extension rate reaches 2.5%, and the maximum allowable wear extension rate reaches 4%, the chain should be replaced; when the wear and extension rate of the gear discharge machine chain reaches 2.5%, the gear teeth can be raised for reuse, with the maximum allowable wear and extension rate reaching 5%; for flat wheel discharge machines, the maximum allowable wear extension rate of the chain is 8%.
