Introduction to Waste Incineration Grates
Release Time:
Jul 26,2021
As we all know,Gratethe system is the central part of the grate-type waste incineration furnace. It plays an important role in the overall process route, incineration effect, engineering cost, economic benefits, etc. In conjunction with the needs of engineering design, it is essential to master the characteristics of waste incineration grate emission technology to make technical reserves for subsequent engineering design. Let's learn about the introduction of waste incineration grates!

1. Waste IncinerationGrateCharacteristics of Emission
The emissions of waste incineration furnaces are mainly composed of reciprocating moving parts. Waste is discharged onto the grate through the feeding device, heated at high temperatures inside the furnace, where part of the waste is dried, and through the movement of another grate, the waste is pushed forward. At the same time, the waste layer is opened to allow the fuel (waste) to pass through the stages of drying, ignition, combustion, and complete burning evenly.
Mechanical incinerators have various grate forms, with the main applications being reverse-push grates, forward-push grates, and drum grates; their main function is the reciprocating mechanical movement of the grate, which promotes the movement and flipping of municipal waste. Currently, the main mechanical grate-type incinerators used domestically and internationally include Germany's grate technology and Japan's Hitachi shipbuilding grate technology, which have different structural forms and characteristics in their core grate components.
2. Technical Characteristics of Waste Incineration Grates at Home and Abroad
2.1 Secondary Reciprocating Grate
Hangzhou Boiler has formed a full series of waste incineration furnace products ranging from 150-500t/d, introducing German Martin furnace grate technology. The independently developed secondary reciprocating municipal waste incineration furnace (grate furnace) is the core achievement of the national "863 plan" project, with a national invention patent certificate. This technology has been applied in projects such as the Taicang waste power plant and the Yixing waste power plant in Jiangsu. The secondary reciprocating grate is shown in Figure 1.
The characteristics of the two-stage reciprocating grate products are as follows.
1) The combination of reverse-push and forward-push grates makes waste combustion more reliable and safer;
2) A step is set between the reverse-push and forward-push grates to ensure that loose waste blocks are fully combustible;
3) At the end of the reverse extrusion,Gratea material layer adjustment device is set, which is particularly suitable for the incineration treatment of municipal waste with significant variations in physical composition;
4) The large head adopts a boss design that is conducive to fully crushing waste;
5) A relatively independent design of the grate method.
The above introduction is about the waste incineration grate. From the structure of the furnace itself, there are no mechanical transmission parts, making the structure simple and maintenance convenient. The operational requirements for the process are slightly higher than that of such machines.
