Yongning grate is a component for stacking and burning solid fuel in boilers or industrial furnaces, the wholeYongning Gratemainly includes two parts: the frame and the grate bars. The grate is usually made of cast iron, and after assembly, there are necessary ventilation gaps between the bars. The bottom of the Yongning grate often has a separate adjustable air volume ventilation chamber, allowing air to enter the fuel bed through the gaps, and the ash after combustion can be discharged manually or mechanically.
Classification of Yongning Grate:
1. Fixed Grate. The grate bars are generally strip-shaped or plate-shaped, fixedly installed at the bottom of the furnace or combustion chamber through a surrounding frame. InYongning Gratethis case, coal can only be added manually at scheduled times, resulting in high labor intensity and poor combustion economic effect. It is only suitable for small capacity furnaces such as industrial boilers with an evaporation capacity of less than 0.5 tons/hour.
2. Moving Grate. There are two types: chain belt type and chain type. The grate surface of the chain belt grate is the chain belt itself; the grate bars of the chain grate are fixed on the upper supports of the chain. The chain belt grate and chain grate are driven by sprockets, causing the grate bars to move slowly. Coal falls evenly from the coal hopper at the front of the grate. The thickness of the coal layer is adjusted by the coal gate. When the grate moves backward, the coal ignites, burns, and is consumed. Some people do not use a coal hopper to feed coal but throw coal onto the grate from behind using a coal throwing machine, and the grate moves forward. The speed of the grate is adjusted through gear transmission according to different coal types and boiler loads. Chain grates operate reliably, have stable combustion, and wide fuel adaptability, and are widely used in industrial boilers.
3. Reciprocating Grate. It consists of a set of fixed grate bars and a set of reciprocating moving grate bars, divided into two types: step-type grate bars and horizontal grate bars. The reciprocating motion of the moving grate gradually pushes the coal layer towards the rear for combustion, thus thisYongning Gratehas a wide adaptability to coal types. There is a small inclination between the grate surface and the horizontal plane of the vibrating grate, and under the action of the motor and eccentric wheel, the grate bars vibrate regularly. During vibration, the fuel bed continuously moves towards the rear of the furnace, allowing the ash after combustion to fall into the ash pit at the end of the grate. The characteristic of this grate is its simple structure.
4. Downward Grate. A trough-type structure grate, with a screw installed at the bottom, leading to the coal hopper outside the furnace. Coal is fed from the lower part of the coal hopper into the coal drop trough through the screw, entering the high-temperature combustion zone from bottom to top. When the ash exceeds the angle of repose, it is discharged to both sides by gravity. This grate has a simple structure but has certain requirements for the particle size and moisture of the coal, generally only suitable for small industrial boilers with an evaporation capacity of less than 1 ton/hour.
