  With the development of society, in 2016, the urban household waste output in China reached 190 million tons, still growing at a rate of about 8%. The increasing amount of urban household waste has become a social problem that troubles urban development, pollutes the urban environment, and affects residents' lives. Traditional waste treatment technologies such as landfilling and composting can no longer meet the requirements for daily waste disposal, while the waste incineration technology that achieves waste reduction, harmlessness, and resource utilization is currently the preferred solution to the problem of waste siege.

  Yongning grate garbage incineration power generation technology has advantages such as large capacity, high operational reliability, short processing cycle, significant reduction, complete harmlessness, and recovery of waste incineration residual heat, making it suitable for large-scale processing of high calorific value unsorted urban household waste.   The manufacturers of Yongning grate incineration power generation equipment have a relatively small processing scale for single incinerators, and the combustion effect is not ideal. Large-scale garbage incineration power plants in China with a capacity of over 1,000 tons mainly import foreign technology and equipment, requiring a large amount of foreign exchange to import technologies and core equipment such as garbage incinerators, but both equipment costs and operating costs are high, making them less adaptable to the characteristics of low calorific value and high moisture content of household waste collected in Chinese cities.

  Yongning grate incinerators adopt layered combustion technology, with the furnace chamber composed of mechanical grate blocks, directly burning garbage. The relative motion between the grates and the gravity of the garbage itself causes the garbage to continuously rotate, stir, and move forward, with the entire combustion process occurring within one furnace chamber. First, the garbage enters the drying section, where hot air is used to dry the garbage from the bottom of the grate to ensure that the garbage can dry and dehydrate quickly, while burning the garbage in the furnace can also roast the garbage in the drying section; when the garbage enters the combustion section, it burns at a high temperature of around 900°, completely decomposing its combustible and harmful components. At the same time, the air entering the bottom of the furnace cools the grate to prevent high temperatures from damaging it. When the garbage enters the incineration section, it is in the cooling process, completely burned out, and turned into ash, completing the entire garbage incineration process.
